A little over a month after unleashing Stay Calm, Nathan Williams’ production project Sweet Valley returns with a new mixtape. Titled Eternal Champ, the 13-track release samples a number of video game scores, specifically Nintendo 64′s Ocarina of Time. Stream/download it below (via Pitchfork // Consequence of Sound).
Basically we are telling you this is some bad ass TRILL // 8-Bit // Beachcore // Lofi Jazzy DUB Soundscapes! I was totally not expecting something like this from Wavves‘ side project Sweet Valley. Apparently they are a blood pact between two brothers, Nathan and Kynan Williams, gone awesomely off the rails. This album is worked like a true DJ. True Musical geniuses on the rise.
